Derby Football Hub Electrical Installation

Project Scope:

MW Electrical Contracting undertook the electrical installation at the new Derby Football Hub, a significant community facility designed to support football activities for the Derby area. The scope of work included comprehensive external lighting, a new mains power supply, and distribution boards, all tailored to meet the facility's extensive power requirements.

Key Components Delivered:

The project required the installation of a high-capacity mains supply, including a precise changeover to re-feed the existing main panel board. This provided the hub with a dependable and scalable power system capable of supporting its diverse operations. The project also featured seven submains linked to new distribution boards, ensuring seamless and robust power distribution across the entire facility.

Client Challenges:

The Derby Council sought a modern, energy-efficient electrical solution that could accommodate the hub's extensive power needs. This included substantial external lighting for the football pitches. The project had to be completed within a tight timeframe to ensure the facility would be operational for the upcoming football season.

We installed a new mains supply and executed a controlled changeover to re-feed the existing main panel board, maintaining continuous power to other parts of the facility during the upgrade.
