Installation of a robust mains power system for Volvo's Bedford facility, ensuring reliable and uninterrupted power supply for critical operations.
MW Electrical Contracting was tasked with the installation of a new mains power system at Volvo’s Bedford facility. The project involved upgrading the main electrical infrastructure to ensure a stable and reliable power supply for the site’s operations, supporting both their production and administrative areas.
Volvo required a new power system to support their growing operations, including new machinery, increased workforce demands and the implementation of EV Charging points. The existing power system was no longer sufficient.
MW Electrical Contracting provided a tailored solution that met Volvo’s power requirements while ensuring minimal disruption to their operations. We designed and installed a new mains power system that significantly increased electrical capacity and stability, allowing Volvo to run their facility at full capacity without the risk of overloads.
The project was completed in stages, with our team working closely with Volvo to schedule installations during off-peak hours. This phased approach allowed us to upgrade the power system without interrupting daily activities. We also integrated a backup power system to provide emergency support in the event of outages, ensuring that Volvo's operations could continue without interruption.
By delivering the project on time and adhering to strict safety protocols, MW Electrical Contracting provided Volvo with a future-proof power system that supports their ongoing growth and operational demands.
